1944

The António de Oliveira Company was born, framed in a growing sector, of relevant importance for the Portuguese economy, it was able to benefit from its geographical proximity to the Pinhal de Leiria and the quality of its forest resources, thus initiating the activity of forestry exploration and sawmilling of woods.

1949

The 10th of January 1949 becomes an important date to this day, as it was on this date that António de Oliveira obtained his first license. Later, after the death of its founder, the Company was renamed after his widow.

It is easy to assume that the experience and knowledge acquired over six decades, as well as the dynamism, reflected in the consolidation and expansion of its business in the national market, make Marto & Oliveira a responsible, solid company with an effective and transversal performance in the industrial sector of wood processing.
